Homemade hemp milk



I am so excited I finally found a homemade hemp milk recipe to try.

As I said before I can have any dairy for now but slowly my nutritionist will add some of it back in a couple months. When I first quit dairy I started drink almond drink instead and I found out I am intolerante to almonds too. My doctor told me to try hemp milk and I hated it maybe for one week after that I felt in love with hemp.

Hemp milk is very expensive I pay around $5 per box that

I drink in a week and half. This recipe I made the same amount is in the box for around $2 and is way healthier and better taste.

Homemade Hemp Milk
makes 4 cups


4 cups filtered water
1/2 cup hemp hearts
4 Medjool dates
1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Blend all together on high speed blender and strain with a bag.



I loved the taste even my husband tried and liked it.

Now time to try my healthy hot chocolate with hemp milk yummy.


Spaghetti Squash



I am very excited to tell you that I tried spaghetti squash for the first time ever. I feel stupid saying it but I will say…I have a lot of fun making it. I yelled at my husband to run to the kitchen and see how magic it was. He did’nt seem impressed but I was. I made him touch it and tried make it himself for a bit to see how cool it was.

I just cut it in half and boiled for 20 minutes. Scooped out the seeds with a spoon and started using the fork pulling out the spaghetti. DSC_0308


The whole squash yielded enough for 4 of my meals and other half I gave for my husband’s lunch tomorrow.


I added some of my homemade tomato sauce on top of it. All what I can say is my belly and my face are both very happy.


Veggies noodles




My friend told me about this little tool he got at Bartells for 14,99 that makes veggies noodles. I got very excited about and ran to the store to buy one for myself. It is very easy to use i just put zucchini and yellow squash inside twist around and voila it makes delicious noodles.


I tried with carrots also and worked great. I made the veggies noodles and some homemade tomato sauce with some grilled chicken and lunch was ready.

Amazing thing about it is that taste almost like noodles but it isn’t and also is very healthy. If you don’t have it and still wants to have veggies noodle you can use a potato peel thing. I used before. Or cut into little pieces.





You can also use it on cucumber to make salads. Yummy and healthy. Eat pasta without feeling guilty.

Cauliflower rice

Cauliflower has some much to offer for your health. It does helps fight cancer, boost you brain and heart health, detoxification support, antioxidant and anti-inflammatory. Provides you lots of vitamin C that helps keep you healthier.

Some people don’t eat cauliflower because they don’t know what to make with it. Or because they tried a boring recipe before and they think it taste always bad but it doesn’t. Cauliflower can be use as an appetizing with hummus or other dip. It also can be baked with some cumin and will taste amazing or mashed instead of potatoes for a mashed cauliflower recipe. I make pizza, tortilla, “potato” salad and now rice with cauliflower. YES, rice.

Last night I was feeling like having some rice so here is my recipe for it:

First, I chopped the whole cauliflower head into pieces and added in the food processor. Just pulsed a bit till it looks like a rice shape.




After that, set aside the cauliflower and start to prepare the veggies. Add some olive oil to a pan and some leek, onion and garlic. Cook for a little bit.



Add also all the veggies you want to your rice can be anything. Corn, peas, carrots, zucchini, peppers etc. You can add ground meat as well I made with ground turkey/chicken before.

This one I use peas, corn, purple carrots and frozen green beans.




Cook till veggies are soft. Then add salt, pepper, sesame seeds and if you like soy sauce. I put gluten free tamari instead because I can’t have gluten.



Last thing you need to do is add all the cauliflower “rice” to it. Just cook for a little bit. And its all done.



Serve with some kind of protein and you have a perfect healthy meal. Enjoy your rice.


Healthy baked eggplant



Hello there,

Today the recipe is super simple. I sliced a eggplant and dip in egg white and quinoa flakes. I baked it around 20 minutes or so on 400F.

You can also add pink salt and pepper but I forgot add on mine. If you want it crunch just bake longer. It is a very light healthy side dish for dinner or you can eat with hummus or some other dip. I just ate itself because I try keep my meals very simple.

Breakfast oats recipe

Oats are a highly nutritious grain, source of carbohydrate, vitamins and minerals and  fiber. Help in weight loss by controlling your appetite. Excellent also for decrease your bad cholesterol.
Chia seeds contain a large amount of omega 3 plus fiber, calcium, magnesium, potassium, protein and B vitamins Contributes to health in lowering cholesterol, blood glucose control, good bone formation, preventing premature aging and improve overall immune health.
Bee pollen contains a large proportion of proteins, all amino acids and several vitamins, minerals, fibers, plant hormones and vitamins, also helps in all the internal organs functions, have nutritional value higher than the meat or  soy protein.
Cinnamon prevents and treats diseases like skin (acne), colds, digestive problems,stimulates digestion, treats bad breath, lowers cholesterol, prevents infections and is also a anticoagulant.

Oats recipe

Ingredients: ( 1 serving only)

– 1/8 cup of uncooked oats

– half banana

– half cup water plus half cup of milk

– 1 teaspoon of bee pollen/ cinnamon/ shredded coconut

– 1 tablespoon of raisins/ chia seeds

– optional: you can add also nuts, sunflower seeds or any other dry fruits.

Add water ,milk and oats in a small pot and bring to boil. Cook it in medium heat for about 5 minutes. In mean while smashed half banana in a bowl and add all the other ingredients with it. When oats are cooked pour into banana mix and mixed it well. And it’s done a yummy healthy breakfast for start your day with lots of energy. You don’t have to add any sugar in it because the banana and raisins will make it sweet enough.
