Since last year, I am working as a barista at a local coffee shop but I’m still dreaming with a better job where I can learn more and feel like I am part of something bigger and important. At my job I also bake and make things like cookies, bars, gluten free foods, salads, sandwitches, scones, muffins and cakes. So I decided to share in here the foods I make even if they are not so healthy.
Here we go.
This is a simple and easy scone recipe. I had tried so many combinations already ( blueberries, mixed berries, blackberries, cranberries, raspberries and peach).
2 cups of flour
1/4 cup of brown sugar
1 tablespoon of baking powder
1/4 cup of cold butter
3/4 cup of cream
1/2 cup of fruit
Mix all ingredients in a mixer except the cup of fruits. With your hands shape it into a ball and add fruits in the middle.
Slowly close it.
And cut into pieces. you can choose what size to cut. Small pieces small scones or big pieces bigger scones.
And here it is after baking.
It is really good and easy to make. you can top it with glaze ( powder sugar and cream or add some lemon or orange zest to the glaze).
