This weekend I decided to make a desert we always make in Brazil but we call it “German pie”. I changed the recipe because I didnt have all the ingredients, because the original recipe has chocolate and my husband and I dont like chocolate. So I can’t say this is a healthy recipe but I’m working to make it healthier. Soon I will post a healthier version but for now let’s be dirty and eat some fat. 🙂
Ingredients : ( this is a little portion just for two people)
– 8 butter biscuits or any other sweet biscuit.
– 1/2 cup of milk ( for soak the biscuits in)
– 1/2 cup of whipping cream
– 1 teaspoon of coconut sugar
– coconut shredded
Pour the coconut sugar into whipping cream and mix well.
– 1/2 cup of milk
– 1/2 cup of water
– 3 teaspoons of coconut sugar
– 1 tablespoon of flour
– 1 teaspoon of vanilla
Add all the cream ingredients in a pot and cook on medium heat until it is thick.
Soak the biscuits in milk and add it in layers into other dish.
In other dish, start the first layer with the soaked biscuits. Then some tablespoons of the cream on the soaked biscuits and right after that some whipping cream too. Sprinkle some coconut above and start other layer with biscuits again until you have just 2 biscuits left. Pour the rest of the cream and whipping cream above biscuits in the end and smash the last 2 biscuits into crumble and add in the end. Refrigerate for 2 hours before serve.

And here when you cut it some cream will be under the biscuits so yummy its my favorite part.
